The heat in Kamloops has been intense the past few days... It got up to +37C here the other day and the forecast is calling for more warm temps... Not good for the forest fires in the area. The heat + smoke is going to make for some uncomfortable days ahead...

President Obama went on The View yesterday for some strange reason.... and he answered some pop culture trivia....He knew that Lindsay Lohan is in jail, he dodged a question about Mel Gibson... does Obama ever watch TV? He could barely answer the questions! guess next time President Obama should watch the view before going on ;-)
Ellen Degeneres is leaving American Idol. She just posted the following statement on her website:
"A couple months ago, I let FOX and the "American Idol" producers know that this didn't feel like the right fit for me. I told them I wouldn't leave them in a bind and that I would hold off on doing anything until they were able to figure out where they wanted to take the panel next. It was a difficult decision to make, but my work schedule became more than I bargained for.” I liked watchin Ellen on Idol but from what I’ve heard not everyone feels the same way… And Ellen isn’t the only judge leaving after this season.. Kara Dioguardi has also been said not to be returning for the upcoming season… So who will replace her? People Magazine is claiming that Jennifer Lopez will be replacing Kara on the show! AND GossipCop.com is saying that Steven Tyler from Aerosmith will take Simon's seat.... So for now it looks like the new panel will be Randy Jackson, J-Lo, and Steven Tyler!!
Lindsay Lohan has headed to jail… she was sentenced to 90 days.. But we all know she’ll get less than a month for quote good behavour…. All the stars get that special treatment.. Wont be long before she’s back on the streets partying till 5am and arrested for another DUI…
Rihanna will make her acting debut in the movie based on the classic board game "Battleship." Some people might be confused because she was in Bring It On: All or Nothing ... but since she played herself it was not her acting debut.... It's due out May 2012
Michael Jackson won’t stop til he gets enough of your money… even though he’s dead… the King of Pop set to release a new album this November. According to Rolling Stone, Jackson has approximately 100 still-unreleased songs from throughout his career -- and the Jackson Estate has already inked a $250 million deal with Sony to release them over the next seven years ... along with reissues of the MJ classics. Among the unreleased tracks are collaborations with Akon, Will.I.Am, and Ne-Yo. The album is set to be released in November 2010
